IIMA is delighted to be participating in the Fastmarkets International Iron Ore & Green Steel Summit 2025 in Barcelona, 17-19 June. The conference will be looking at the pivotal shift in the steel manufacturing sector towards environmental responsibility and carbon neutrality.
In particular, IIMA Secretary General, John Atherton, will be speaking in a session on Thursday 19th June at 10:35am on ‘Defining Green Steel: Standards, Labels & the Reality of Premiums.’ This will cover questions such as:

- The long-term outlook: will green steel become the default, or remain a differentiated product?
