ACME Group, founded in 2003, ACME Group has emerged as one of India’s foremost clean energy companies, with a strong presence across Renewable Power Generation, Green Hydrogen, and Green Ammonia. The group has a cumulative renewable energy portfolio of over 12.5 GW capacity, including operational, under-construction, and awarded solar, wind, and FDRE projects with BESS. ACME is also a pioneer in Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia, current 100 KTPA Green Ammonia Project for Yara fertilizers in Duqm, Oman is under construction. Further 450 KTPA Green Ammonia Project in Phase 2 is in pipeline in Oman. In India 75,000 t of Green Ammonia project has recently been signed for fertilizer application.

Building on their clean energy leadership, the group is entering in Steel business and building Asia/GCC‘s first Green Steel plant in Duqm, Oman. The plant shall have 2.1 MTPA Green HBI / DRI production using H2 and Natural gas as reductant. Further, using 2.1 MTPA DRI facility for iron making, shall set up EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) – LF ( Ladle Furnace) – RHOB degasser – Thick slab caster for producing Green Slab. The project is in Engineering stage and plant shall be commissioned in 2029.

The Steel plant shall produce heavy Green Slabs up to 350mm thick and 2400 mm wide for Construction, special high tensile verities, Automotive, Pressure vessel, Wind towers and critical structural steels used for high end applications. The DRI- EAF process shall use captive Solar energy with batteries, captive green hydrogen and first in the world to use dual-fuel (H₂ + NG simultaneous application) DRI reactor and own virtual grids enable to produce green slabs within CBAM Green steel limits.

The plant shall be nearby to Duqm Port and shall use facilities of deep-sea logistics. Further, as a company committed to clean and sustainable steel production, ACME is deeply aligned with the vision of the Low Emissions Steel Standard (LESS). The group is also setting up a solar module manufacturing facility with a commissioned capacity of 1.2 GW in Jaipur, India and an additional 3 GW Cell & Module plant is currently under construction.
