The Singapore Iron Ore Forum (SIOF) took place on 28th May 2025, run by S&P Global Commodity Insights.
IIMA Secretary General, John Atherton presented on, “Synergy in the Iron Ore and Green Iron Pathway to Decarbonisation”, 3.40pm on 28th May. IIMA is a partner to the event. IIMA member Champion Iron is also speaking at the event, via François Lavoie, Vice President, Sales.
In partnership with SGX Commodities, SIOF is part of the Singapore International Ferrous Week (SIFW), Southeast Asia’s largest gathering of international players involved in the production, trading and shipping of ferrous metals.

It fosters collaboration and actionable strategies to address shifting demand, supply and capitalize on opportunities in sustainable steel production.
