IIMA is a not-for-profit company, limited by shares and incorporated in England. IIMA's main governing document is its Articles of Association.
IIMA's Organisational Structure
IIMA's top governing body is the Meeting of Members which takes high level decisions. The Board of Directors is appointed from within the membership and is responsible for the overall performance of IIMA in achieving its objectives as well as governance and finance. Day-to-day management is the responsibility of the Secretariat, headed by the Secretary General. See The Team for details.
IIMA has two principal committees, the Communications Committee and the Technical Committee (which includes regulatory support in its mandate) as well as other ad hoc committees which are formed as needed. Committees are supported by the Secretariat.
